And while we're at it, revisit the Articles of Confederation and why the remembered Founders were so anxious to overthrow it with the Constitution. And the forgotten Founders (Samuel Adams, Patrick Henry to name 2) were so opposed to it. And only because of the anti-Federalists do we have the Bill of Rights.
So add the Federalist and anti-Federalist papers to the reading list, along with Thomas Paine's Common Sense.
